Princess Kristina av Tunsberg or virgin Kristin Håkonsdatter was the daughter of King Håkon IV and his wife Margrete Skulesdatter.
Kristina was the third of Håkon and Margretes' four children and an older sister of Magnus Lagabøte.
Tore Hund, born around 990 and died sometime after 1030, was one of the most important chiefs in Hålogaland. He had a farm on Bjarkøy & was one of the leaders in the rebellion against King Olav Haraldsson Digre, as described in Snorri Sturlasson's saga of Olav the Saint in Heimskringla.
Olav II Haraldsson, also called Olav the Saint, Saint Olav, Saint Olav and Olav the Great, born ca. 993 in Ringerike, died on 29 July approx. 1030 at Stiklestad and buried in Nidaros, was Norway's king from 1015 to 1028. He was declared a saint by Bishop Grimkjell on 3 August approx. 1031.
